In a heartbreaking incident in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, a 17-year-old student named Rohit Sahebrao Dhangar died by suicide on Raksha Bandhan. Earlier that day, he celebrated the festival with his sister before returning home with their father. Shortly after arriving home, Rohit shared a poignant message on social media, urging his sister to take care of their parents and expressing his intention to leave.
Rohit also communicated with a friend, revealing his distress over financial losses incurred from online gaming. Despite his friend's immediate response to check on him, Rohit was found unresponsive upon their arrival. Authorities have registered an accidental death case and are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his tragic death, including his social media activity and emotional state prior to the incident.
