Nagpur Police Arrest Minor Linked to 15 Burglaries
A minor has been apprehended in Nagpur for his involvement in a series of house burglaries totaling ₹16.90 lakh in stolen goods.

In a significant breakthrough, Nagpur's Crime Branch Unit-4 has apprehended a minor suspected of committing a series of house burglaries in the Imamwada police station jurisdiction. The investigation revealed that the minor is linked to approximately 15 burglaries, with stolen property valued at around ₹16.90 lakh recovered during the operation.
The case came to light following a burglary reported on September 13 at the residence of Milind Kamble in Dahipura Layout, Untkhana. In response to the incident, the Imamwada Police registered a case and initiated a parallel investigation, which was taken over by the Crime Branch Unit-4.
Under the leadership of Police Inspector Baburao Raut, the investigation team meticulously analyzed footage from around 500 CCTV cameras and utilized technical inputs to track the suspect. As a result, the minor was taken into custody. During subsequent questioning, police recovered various items, including 12 gold pieces, silver anklets, and mobile phones, all believed to be linked to the burglaries.
Authorities indicated that the minor's activities revealed a pattern of thefts, with evidence suggesting he traveled to Ajmer with another accomplice after some of the burglaries. The stolen funds were reportedly spent on travel and entertainment. Upon returning to Nagpur, the duo allegedly attempted to sell the stolen gold items.
The minor has been transferred to the Imamwada Police for further legal proceedings. Meanwhile, police are actively working to locate the other minor involved in these criminal activities, as the investigation continues to unfold.
