VIALEW to Host 29th UDYOJIKA Exhibition from October 1
The VIA Lady Entrepreneurs’ Wing will showcase women-led businesses at the UDYOJIKA exhibition in Nagpur.
The UDYOJIKA exhibition will take place from October 1 to 4.
Mayor Neeta Thakre will inaugurate the event on October 1.
Approximately 90 women entrepreneurs are expected to participate.
The VIA Lady Entrepreneurs’ Wing (VIALEW) is gearing up for the 29th edition of UDYOJIKA – An All Eves’ Exhibition, scheduled from October 1 to 4 at the Kusumtai Wankhede Hall, located on North Ambazari Road in Nagpur. This event aims to promote women entrepreneurship and is organized in collaboration with the Barrister Sheshrao Wankhede Trust, honoring the legacy of the late Smt. Kusumtai Wankhede.
The exhibition will kick off with an inauguration ceremony on October 1 at 11:00 a.m., featuring Mayor Neeta Thakre as the chief guest. The event will also welcome Neeta Aavghad, Assistant Commissioner from the District Skill Development, Employment & Entrepreneurship Guidance Centre, as the guest of honor. This year’s exhibition promises to be a significant platform for women entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services.
On October 4, the exhibition will conclude with a valedictory and prize distribution ceremony. Dr. Manali Makarand Kshirsagar, Vice-Chancellor of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, will serve as the chief guest, while Nitipudi Rashmita Rao, Deputy Commissioner of Police for Zone 4, Nagpur Police Department, will be the guest of honor. This closing event will recognize the outstanding contributions of participating entrepreneurs.
During a press conference held on Monday, Yogita Deshmukh, Chairperson of VIALEW, announced that around 90 women entrepreneurs are expected to participate in this year’s exhibition. The event aims to empower women by providing them with a platform to display their entrepreneurial ventures and connect with potential customers and investors. Other key members present at the press meet included Secretary Poonam Gupta and Joint Secretary Amandeep Kaur Sehemi.
The UDYOJIKA exhibition is anticipated to have a positive impact on the local economy by highlighting the capabilities of women entrepreneurs in Nagpur. It serves as a vital initiative to inspire and encourage more women to engage in business, fostering a supportive community for female-led enterprises.
