Tragic Ferry Fire Claims Lives and Leaves Many Missing in Philippines

A catastrophic fire engulfed the MV June Aster ferry off the coast of Palawan, Philippines, on Wednesday night, leading to the tragic deaths of five individuals and leaving 87 others unaccounted for. The ferry, which had departed from the Port of Manila, was heading towards Coron when flames erupted approximately 1.2 nautical miles northeast of Barangay Marcilla.
